Michael Petrosian
Financial PlannerMichael has been in the finance industry for over 20 years. Starting his career in 1997 at PaineWebber-Union Bank of Switzerland in Los Angeles, he worked as an associate trader and research assistant building a strong foundation of institutional knowledge and technical expertise in capital markets. After moving to Kona in 2001, Michael accepted a Financial Advisor position at Merrill Lynch where his technical background merged with extensive training in financial planning and personal money management, and his career as Financial Planner was born. Michael joined Raymond James in 2016 in an effort to align with a firm focused on client service and commitment to financial planning.
Michael is committed to community service and outreach. He has served as Trustee at Hawaii Preparatory Academy, and Board member at Surfrider Foundation, and Hawaii Island Land Trust. Michael currently serves as board member of North Hawaii Hospice.
Away from the office, Michael is a voracious reader on topics of economics, behavioral finance, history, money management, and physics. When not having fun or learning with his four-year old son Kosta, Michael is always hiking, swimming, running, camping, or adventuring. Other interests include chess, archery, yoga, and winetasting.
